Month: June 2016

May

It’s difficult to write about the month of May when you consider that it’s almost July. Though as my tardiness might suggest, it has been a busy busy time. Here’s a look back at some of what went on.

I took a lot of walks.

I drank a lot of coffee.

…and beer.

We went to Thai Park on Mother’s Day.

My favorite band released a new album and I got the vinyl in the mail.

My mom visited for a week and we hit up the Botanical Garden and Tierpark and the Natural History Museum.

After more than a decade in Berlin, a friend moved away back to California.

And I read three books:
“When Breath Becomes Air” by Paul Kalanithi
“Station Eleven” by Emily St. John Mandel
“Your Heart is a Muscle the Size of a Fist” by Sunil Yapa
