With temperatures in the high 60s these past couple days, and lows in the 80s expected next week, it feels like Berlin’s spring/summer is finally kicking itself into gear. As such, today was the perfect day for being outside and soaking it all up. A friend of mine is in town for a week, visiting from Finland, so we met up at a new vegan restaurant in Berlin called The Bowl. After a really delicious lunch, we walked to Cupcake for, well, cupcakes. Then it was across the river to Kreuzberg (with a short stop at the vinyl shop Bis Aufs Messer), and I went home while she went on to meet up with another friend. It was a really nice afternoon though, and I enjoyed both catching up and taking a leisurely walk. Hooray for the weekend!
