This past Friday, M.’s company had its annual cocktail party at a riverside bar in Charlottenburg. The weather was uncharacteristically warm when compared to the past couple weeks, so I made the decision to walk there, starting in Kreuzberg. It was a two-hour trek, first through the city, and then along the river. For whatever reason, the buildings I encountered along the way really caught my attention, particularly those with lots of reflective surfaces. It’s always nice to notice things that I normally overlook or simply see them with a different perspective.
