Helsinki: Other Peoples’ Homes.

other peoples' houses

One of the things I love in this life is to see how other people decorate their homes. I often wander through the streets of Berlin, peeking into windows without curtains or imagining how people decorate their rooms. So when I get the chance to see how someone lives, it’s always interesting for me.

While in Helsinki, we went on a bike ride to the Marimekko factory, and on the way back, passed by the home of one of V’s friends. She decided to stop off and the friend was home, so we came inside for some water and a chat. I used the opportunity to take some photos of the living space, which apparently was recently featured in a magazine. I also made some cat friends, Ronia and Olga—well, one, actually, as the other was too busy hiding.
