Central European Summer Time ended this weekend and if it hasn’t already, the reality of the seemingly never-ending Berlin winter has set in. Other parts of Germany have already had snow, but this weekend was cold weather and blue skies. Or at least Sunday was.
After planning a laundromat visit for weeks, we finally decided it was the best day to do so. We had a winter comforter that needed washing (our washing machine is too small for it) and we also waterproofed our shell jackets for the season, a task which required a dryer. So we set out through the park to the closest laundromat.
Along the way, I took some photos to capture the contrast of the seasonal colours set against the clear skies. And you know what? Görlitzer Park almost looks pretty sometimes.
