The past few times that I’ve made recipes calling for ginger, M. always says it’s not enough. So when I saw this recipe, I thought it would hit the jackpot. But turns out I was wrong: he is like Goldilocks, trying the different porridges, but never got to Baby Bear’s. That’s right, this one had too much ginger. Even so, I mostly enjoyed it, and would perhaps make it again, with less ginger and maybe more lime?

The Life-Changing Loaf of Bread from My New Roots
Because I am doing the gluten-free thing right now, a friend of mine sent me this recipe, which was amazing. And by that I mean I have already made three loaves. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but it’s worth it. The bread it delicious, nutty, nutritious… I am still not eating it as often as I was eating bread/flour products before, but it’s nice for the occasional meal or snack when I am craving something like bread. Let’s just say that it will be a regularly reoccurring recipe in my kitchen.
