Last month was a relatively intense time, for a variety of reasons, namely because we were getting married. Additionally, we had a steady stream of visitors in our house for two weeks, since close to one-third of our guests were from abroad. Not only that, but our new bed – a wedding present from my parents – needed to be built, but not until our mattress arrived, which not so conveniently happened two days before said wedding. Needless to say, things around here were a bit chaotic, and the appearance of our flat reflected that.
However, our guests left, and took along with them their suitcases and personal appliances and dirty clothes, and we ended up remodeling our bedroom and selling our old bed and finally bringing a semblance of order to this place. We still have some work ahead of us, of course, namely art to be hung, but I am pretty happy with how our flat is shaping up.
