The other day I was in Neukölln running errands, when I realized I was dangerously close to Vux, just in time for a perfect afternoon snack. I was a bit worn out from my day, but I can also hardly refuse vegan cupcakes, so I decided to stop off for a treat and to rest my legs a bit. I also figured it was as good a time as any to take some photos; the streets surrounding Richardplatz are often relatively quiet, but they feature a mix of lovely cafes and buildings alongside more industrial-type locations (like auto workshops and old antique markets). The area also brings back fond memories of my first few months in Berlin, as I spent them living about 10 minutes away (on foot), and spent a lot of time walking this streets on my way to and from parties or dinner out. Even so, I can’t help but notice something different every time I’m back.
