Riga: Old Town, Part 2

riga, latvia

We all have moments of ignorance that last far longer than they should, before we are finally corrected… for me, one such example was thinking that Riga was a city in Poland until a few years ago. Embarrassing, right? I suppose I have a (weak) excuse, as Lativa wasn’t a country that was featured in our history books, but I guess my little geographical faux pas was just one reason why I felt so compelled to visit Riga, so that I could really get a feel for the city. That said, here are a few more snapshots from my morning walk through the Old Town (also a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
