Although November is more than a quarter underway, it has been a bit of an unimpressive month. By that, I mean that the fellow and I have both been sick all week. He is a couple days ahead of me and today is his first day feeling better, so that gives me hope that by Saturday I will be spending more of the hours in the day awake than asleep. Currently, my days consist of sleeping, drinking lots of tea, taking hot baths, lots of naps, depleting the tissue supply, watching movies and reading, and falling back asleep.
In spite of my complete lack of routine this week, there were some good things this month that happened, such as M.’s band playing a show, getting to see The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and the birthday of M.’s brother. We celebrated the latter on Sunday with the traditional Kaffee & Kuchen, eating various cakes, passing around photos of M. and T. when they were little, and playing a few rousing games of UNO.
