Another weekend come and gone, and here it is, almost October. The days are getting progressively cooler, which leaves me feeling like I want to stay inside, curled up in bed with the baby and the cats… which is exactly how I spent my Friday and my Sunday. Of course, I did get some work done too, as I had lots of catching up to do, but there was also plenty of time for reading and sleeping and cleaning and snuggling, plus Skyping with a dear friend.
In contrast, Saturday was a busy one. M. spent the early afternoon running errands like shopping and getting his hair cut, and then later on we headed out to try and find him a belt and then meet up with a friend visiting from out of town. We first went to Gordon, where I had the vegan shakshuka and a coffee—perfect for a cold day. Then we walked to nearby Mos Eisley for some Soja Erdnuss Crunch, before making our way back home. Altogether, the weekend was a perfect mix of doing a lot and doing nothing at all.
